Virginia Lung is a health clinic based in Mechanicsville, Virginia. They offer services mainly in lung health—focusing on prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The clinic needed some marketing done for both several things: mail, socials, a letterhead and an event. They are a new clinic and they wanted to build their online presence, build their brand and ultimately increase the number of patients in their clinic. When creating all my designs, I focused on who they are and what they offer.
This project was done while working with VDS Digital Agency. They handled the marketing, SEO and copywriting.

Design Process
When creating the postcard mailer for Virginia Lung, I used a bit of their website as inspiration since they asked for this mailer to highlight their services, location and what they do. The layout design I did was largely influenced by the content as I'm a content-first designer. Any copy I receive from clients influences my design choices. I made both portrait and landscape options of this mailer originally as the initial design was supposed to be horizontal like a lot of mailers. After playing around with both layout options and presenting these to the client, vertical option is the one that was picked.
When creating Virginia Lung's event banner, the focus was making who they are and their services a big thing throughout the design. I got their copy and decided the way I want this to flow is to first tell the viewer who they are by starting with their mission, then going into their services and finally ending with their contact information. The way I did this layout initially is similar to telling a story or going from point A to point B.
